“Testimony”  

My Conversion in 1955 to Jesus

I didn't know when I went through the doors of Mount Carmel Church that I would come out changed for the rest of my life. In the Easter of 1955

I went with the Boys Brigade and marched through the doors of the Church to hear a radio relay of a Billy Graham campaign from Scotland. Heaven or hell is what he said it was a enough to get me thinking. The truth is Jesus saved me that night, And the joy of the Lord has been with me ever since. From the age of  13 to 70 He has kept me.

I went along to the Boys Brigade Sunday morning Bible Study.  After a long time of teaching  by the Rev Price Lewis I was made member of the church, and was baptized. In the Boys Brigade Hymn Book we used to sing We Have  An Anchor. And with Billy Graham it was Blessed Assurance Jesus is mine was the popular Hymn at that time the Hymn sang by George Beverly Shea.
